*Red Drapes are a four-piece band from London. Their melancholic sound and strong lyrical emphasis takes influence from post punk and new wave bands of the 80’s, The Smiths, Psychedelic Furs, Echo & The Bunnymen... After only few live shows, Red Drapes soon earned themselves support slots with The Boxer Rebellion, O Children or White Rose Movement . A dystopian and somewhat nihilistic view of modern life is documented and encapsulated in their songs.
*They recorded their first ep with producer Laurie Latham (Echo & the Bunnymen). This E.p 1 is limited to 100 copies, was handmade by the band and includes 5 Tracks - released on april 26th,2010
