*The Telescopes are a british psychedelic/noise/space rock band formed in 1987 by Stephen Lawrie. The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine and Spacemen 3 being influences and contemporaries.


*'Flying' & 'High on fire' are taken from their 2nd self-titled album released in 1992 on creation records, 'Tornado' is a bonus track from the 2004' re-released album


*The Telescopes are currently on european tour with Bristol shoegaze band The Fauns
